Maria Luisa Munoz. Yogacharini. Yoga teacher.

She has been teaching yoga since 1985, having begun her practice in 1984 with Swami Sivananda lineage in Cordoba, Argentina. Passionate about the philosophy of yoga and India, she has taken part in numerous courses on the study of fundamental and sacred texts: the Bhagavad Gita, the Yogas Sutras of Patanjali, the Geranda Samita, the Hatha yoga Pradipika as well as the texts of Sri Aurobindo Ghose and his approach to Integral Yoga, very much enveloped in Argentina.

Since the 1990s, she has been deepening her studies in the tradition of Tirumalai Krishnamacharya, meeting his greatest disciples Mataji Indra Devi and T.K.V Deshikachar, in particular with regard to the therapeutic approach to yoga (yoga chikitsa) using the vinyasa krama system: arranging the yoga practice according to the ayurvedic profile and the particular needs of each practitioner.

She trained as a yoga therapy practitioner with the IAYT (International Association of Yoga Therapists) in 1993-95 and later with the Institut de Yoga Thérapie, directed by Dr Lionel Coudron in France. She proposes yoga therapy consultations and teaches in France, in Aix en Provence, Rousset and Peynier and the surrounding area.

In 1993 she also trained in what we know "nowadays" as Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga with M.S. Viswanath of the Pathanjala Yoga Kendra Foundation in Bangalore, India. Many years of practising Iyengar Yoga have also given a richness and depth to her approach to the practice of yoga.

She continues to enrich her practice and teaching by regularly participating in workshops and training courses with renowned teachers such as Devi Mohan, Linda Munro and Gerald Dise, Ron Reid and Marla Meenakshi Joy, Kino McGregor, and many others.

Alongside her yoga practice, she has devoted forty years to the Buddhist practice of meditation and the study of its philosophy within Tibetan Buddhism in the Drukpa Kagyu and Dzogchen lines in Argentina and Europe, taking part in numerous retreats such as vipassana.

In 1986 she met Choegyal Rimpoche and Dorzon Rinpoche, with whom she took refuge and participated in her first meditation retreat. In 1992 she met the Dalai Lama in Cordoba, Argentina, and took part in his teachings for a week. Since then, she has continued on her inner journey, nourished by yoga and Buddhism.

"Yoga came into my life as a grace, a great gift from the universe. With time and years of practice, it has become an inner force, a powerful instrument that gives us the resources we need to live in harmony, to practise understanding and to practise mental calm. My greatest wish is that all sentient beings may achieve awakening.

Maria Luisa".

Damien Valois, Yoga teacher.

Damien has been practising yoga for fifteen years. Initially, he took up yoga as a way of coping with the daily stress of his job. The practice of Ashatanga Vinyasa became a source of inner fulfilment and transformation, leading him a few years later to train as a yoga teacher in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and Hatha Yoga under the guidance of Viswanath Mysore Sivaram, "Masterji" at the Pathanjala Yoga Kendra Foundation in Bangalore, India.

Over time, the practice of yoga has taken on a wider dimension, transforming itself into a lifestyle and an inner strength.

Damien has been offering clear and precise teaching for 10 years now. Thanks to his keen sense of observation, he brings to each practitioner the right balance of precision, energy and dynamism. Open-minded and open-hearted, his flexibility and dynamism season his classes with joy and vigour.
